Terms and conditions

These terms apply to the use of InfoBrick: the website, the app, the API and everything offered through them. Please read them carefully. Last updated: 7 October 2026.

In short. InfoBrick gives an automated, indicative estimate of what a home is worth and what to bid, with the information behind it. It is not a valuation by a registered valuer, not advice, and not suitable for a mortgage. You decide what you do with it. These short lines are for convenience; the articles below are what counts.

Article 1. Who we are

InfoBrick is offered by Prasavik B.V., a private limited company under Dutch law ("we", "us").

Article 2. Definitions

  1. Service: InfoBrick as offered by us, including the website, the app, the API, e-mails, reports and all information, estimates and documents produced by it.
  2. User: anybody who uses the service, with or without an account.
  3. Consumer: a user who is a natural person not acting in the course of a business or profession.
  4. Business customer: a user acting in the course of a business or profession, including users of the institutional plan and of the API.
  5. Plan: the free plan, a paid plan or the institutional plan, each with the functions and limits described in the service at the time.
  6. Output: everything the service produces for a user, such as a valuation, an advised bid, a score, a check, a summary, a bid plan or an objection letter.

Article 3. Applicability

  1. These terms apply to every use of the service and to every agreement between us and a user about it.
  2. General terms of a user, including purchase terms of a business customer, do not apply unless we have accepted them in writing.
  3. For business customers, a separate written agreement may supplement these terms. Where it conflicts with these terms, the separate agreement prevails.
  4. If any provision of these terms is void or annulled, the other provisions remain in force, and the provision concerned will be replaced by a valid one that comes as close as possible to its purpose.
  5. These terms are available in Dutch and in English. In case of a difference in meaning, the Dutch text prevails.

Article 4. What the service is, and what it is not

  1. The service combines information about homes published by public bodies and other sources with our own models, and produces automated, indicative estimates and information about homes and the housing market.
  2. The output is not:
    • a valuation report (taxatierapport) by a registered valuer (for example within the meaning of the NRVT rules) and cannot be used to apply for a mortgage, the National Mortgage Guarantee (NHG) or for any other purpose for which such a report is required;
    • financial, tax, legal or construction advice, a structural survey or an inspection of the home;
    • a guarantee that a home will sell, or can be bought, at any price.
  3. The output is based on information that may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect, and on models that make assumptions. Every estimate comes with an indication of how certain it is. Actual prices can differ considerably from our estimates.
  4. You remain responsible for your own decisions, such as whether to bid, what to bid, whether to buy or let, and whether to object to a WOZ value. For important decisions we recommend that you also consult a qualified professional, such as a purchasing broker (aankoopmakelaar), a registered valuer, a structural surveyor or a financial adviser.
  5. An objection letter prepared by the service is a draft. You decide whether, and in what form, to submit it, and you are responsible for its content and for meeting the deadlines that apply.

Article 5. Account

  1. Some functions require an account. You must be at least 16 years old to create one. You must give correct information and keep your sign-in details secret. Actions taken with your account are deemed to be yours, unless you show that your account was used without your fault.
  2. Tell us without delay if you suspect that somebody else has access to your account or your API key.
  3. You may delete your account at any time in the app, under Account. The privacy statement explains what happens to your data.

Article 6. Plans and prices

  1. The functions and limits of each plan are described in the service. We may, for a period we determine, make functions of a paid plan available to the free plan, for example during a launch period, and end that again.
  2. The free plan, and use without an account, is provided as it is, without any commitment as to availability or content, and may be limited, changed or ended by us at any time.
  3. A paid plan is agreed only once we have confirmed it to you in writing or by e-mail, stating the price, the term and how you can end it. Prices for consumers include VAT.
  4. Unless agreed otherwise, a paid plan for a consumer runs for the agreed term and can be ended at any time with effect from the end of the month after which it is ended; it is never renewed for a longer period than one month at a time after its first term.
  5. Right of withdrawal. A consumer who takes out a paid plan at a distance has the right to withdraw from it within 14 days without giving a reason. If you ask us to start the paid plan within those 14 days, you will owe a proportionate amount for the part already provided if you then withdraw. Where a paid function consists of digital content delivered at once (for example a single report) and you have expressly agreed to its immediate delivery and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, that right lapses once it is delivered.
  6. We may change prices of a paid plan for a following term. We will tell you at least one month in advance; a consumer may then end the plan with effect from the date the change takes effect.

Article 7. Business customers and the API

  1. Use of the API and the institutional plan is subject to the limits of the plan, including the number of valuations per month. API keys are personal to the business customer and must be kept secret.
  2. The business customer is responsible for having a lawful basis for any personal data it uploads, for example in a list of addresses for a portfolio valuation, and for informing the people concerned where required. Where we process personal data on behalf of a business customer, we will conclude a data processing agreement on request.
  3. Output obtained through the API or the institutional plan may be used within the business customer's own organisation. It may not be resold, published as a data set, or offered to third parties as a service, unless agreed in writing.
  4. Invoices are paid within 14 days. If a business customer does not pay on time, it owes the statutory commercial interest and the costs of collection, and we may suspend the service until it has paid.
  5. Output is meant for the business customer only. Third parties to whom a business customer shows or passes on output cannot derive any rights from it against us.

Article 8. Use of the service

  1. You use the service in a lawful and fair way. In particular, you will not:
    • copy, extract or re-use substantial parts of the content of the service, including by automated means (scraping, crawling or mass requests), outside the API and its limits;
    • circumvent the limits of a plan, for example by using several accounts;
    • use the service to harass, profile or contact owners or occupants of homes, or for any purpose that infringes the rights of others;
    • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, interfere with its operation or security, or introduce harmful code;
    • present output as a valuation report by a registered valuer, or as an opinion of Prasavik B.V., to third parties.
  2. If you act in breach of these terms, we may suspend or end your access to the service, in proportion to the breach and, where reasonably possible, after warning you first.

Article 9. What you add to the service

  1. Information you enter, such as details about your own home, remains yours. You grant us the right to use it to provide the service to you.
  2. Where you choose to share a bid you made, or enter a rent, you grant us the right to use it, without your name and only pooled with data from others as described in the privacy statement, to produce figures shown to other users. You may withdraw a shared bid at any time; figures already pooled are not affected.
  3. You guarantee that what you enter is, to the best of your knowledge, correct, and that entering it does not infringe the rights of others.

Article 10. Intellectual property

  1. All intellectual property rights in the service, including its software, models, design, texts and the database it builds (including database rights within the meaning of the Dutch Databases Act), belong to Prasavik B.V. or its licensors.
  2. You receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service and its output for your own purposes in accordance with these terms. A bid plan or an objection letter you made may be shared with the people it is meant for.
  3. Information from third parties included in the service is used under the licences of those parties, such as Creative Commons and the Open Database License. Where those licences require attribution, it is shown in the service.

Article 11. Availability and changes

  1. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and the information in it current, but do not guarantee that it is always available, free of errors, complete or current.
  2. We may change the service, including its functions, models and sources, for example to improve it or because a source changes. We will not, without good reason, remove an essential function of a paid plan during its term; if we do, a consumer may end the plan and receives a proportionate refund.
  3. We may temporarily take the service out of use for maintenance, where possible at a time when it is little used.

Article 12. Liability

  1. We are not liable for loss resulting from decisions you take on the basis of the output, such as the amount you bid, whether or not you buy, sell or let a home, or whether you object to a WOZ value, given the nature of the service as described in article 4.
  2. We do not guarantee that information we take from public bodies and other sources is correct, complete or current, and are not liable for loss caused by errors in it.
  3. Our total liability towards a business customer, for whatever reason, is limited to direct loss and to the fees that business customer paid for the service in the three months before the event that caused the loss, with a maximum of € 1,000 for all events together in a calendar year. Where no fees were paid, we are not liable. We are never liable towards a business customer for indirect loss, including consequential loss, lost profit, lost savings, loss of data and loss due to business interruption.
  4. Towards a consumer, our liability is limited to direct loss and to the fees the consumer paid for the service in the twelve months before the event that caused the loss, to the extent the law allows. For the free plan and use without an account we are not liable, to the extent the law allows.
  5. The limitations in this article do not apply if the loss is caused by intent or deliberate recklessness of our management, and do not limit liability for death or personal injury.
  6. A claim for damages lapses if it is not reported to us in writing within twelve months after you became aware, or could reasonably have become aware, of the loss. This paragraph does not apply to consumers to the extent it would deprive them of rights they have by law.
  7. The agreement is concluded with Prasavik B.V. only. Claims can be brought only against Prasavik B.V., not against its directors, shareholders, employees or the persons it engages, who may each invoke this article and the other provisions of these terms as if they were parties to them.
  8. A business customer indemnifies us against claims of third parties, including the people whose data it uploads, arising from its use of the service or of the output in breach of these terms or of the law, and reimburses the reasonable costs of defending them.

Article 13. Force majeure

We are not bound to perform an obligation if we are prevented from doing so by circumstances beyond our control, including failures of the providers, networks and data sources we depend on, sources that stop publishing or change their terms, cyber attacks, and measures by public authorities.

Article 14. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our privacy statement, which forms part of these terms.

Article 15. Term and ending

  1. The agreement for the free plan runs for an indefinite period. You may end it at any time by deleting your account. We may end it with one month's notice, or at once in the case of a serious breach of these terms.
  2. A paid plan ends as described in article 6 or in the agreement with the business customer.
  3. Articles that by their nature are meant to continue after the agreement ends, such as articles 10, 12 and 17, remain in force.

Article 16. Complaints

Complaints about the service can be sent to support@infobrick.nl, with a clear description. We confirm receipt and give a substantive answer within 14 days; if that is not possible, we tell you within that period when you can expect one.

Article 17. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will publish a change on this page with its date and, if it materially affects you, tell you by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree with a change, you may end the agreement before it takes effect; if you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

Article 18. Applicable law and disputes

  1. Dutch law applies to these terms and to every agreement between us and a user.
  2. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district where Prasavik B.V. has its registered office. A consumer may, within one month after we have invoked this paragraph in writing, choose to have the dispute settled by the court that would be competent by law.
  3. The mandatory rules of consumer protection of the country where a consumer lives continue to apply.
